My auntie is awesome…

March 21, 2011 by Kim Woodward

The shameless Addy posts have begun.

We love her. And she clearly loves us, too. (She may or may not have already said, “I love you, Aunt Kim.” She’s a 1-week-old baby genius.)

Did you check out that shirt?
Ryan mostly did this. His quote: “I’ll hold her when she’s less breakable…like around 5 years old.”

But then I snuck the baby girl into his arms.

“Uncle Ryan?”
“You know you love me.”

Lots of love in our hearts for this little one.

How was your weekend?

That is one good lookin niece you’ve got there lady! And baby jeans equal automatic squeals. It’s going to be so much fun. I just went shopping for my god-daughter who’s turning 11. It was so fun picking out clothes and nail polish and all that stuff for her. There’s only so many tiny boy golf shirts I can buy, ya know? This girl needs her girly fix.

Ooooo so tiny and cute!!! I always forget how tiny babies are when they are first born 🙂

It took JEGs till my fourth niece was born to hold a baby.

    Now he’s a pro 😉

She is beautiful! And, if she already thinks Auntie Kim is awesome, just wait until she really knows you! She’ll be overwhelmed with awesomeness.

She’s so precious. And you look fabulous, too, Aunt Kim. And I love that you already have an Addison tag – best auntie ever!

PS – totally had to trick B into holding babies in the past, too. I’m all “GIVE ME THAT BABY”. How do boys restrain themselves?

    Too cute!

Your husband is funny! Nate used to poke our niece and nephew when they were tiny and get upset when they wouldn’t respond…I think he’s slowly starting to understand baby development now…but still won’t hold them until about 6 months.

    She’s adorable!
