Funky quilted table runner
>> Tuesday, March 16, 2010
I finished quilting and binding the table runner previewed here. In the end, I like it. It's been a while since I've quilted, so this was probably a good way to ease back into it. I had some trouble with the binding, but it looks bright and cheery in the end.
What's your current project?

21 people have something to say:
That, my friend, is GORGEOUS!!! You Rock!!!
LOVE the fabrics! I personally hate binding with a burning passion and it's keeping me from doing any quilting projects.
Looks great! Love the colors. I am currently working on.... nothing. Life is too crazy. :-)
I love the fabrics you used! I'm working on nothing, but there are 100s of things I NEED to be working on.
This turned out great! I have started making fabric hair pins and just can't stop.
Is that a mini runner?!?! It's adorable!
Projects hmmm...organizing my craft room at the moment. I can't seem to make anything with the room in dissarray.
It looks so cute. I love the little chickies in the window. I want to get the mamma, daddy and 2 baby quails for my window. This looks so nice!
Very beautiful and I too love the little birds on your window. Are those vinyl cut from the cricut?
I love the colors you used!! Im currently getting the materials together so I to make a spring wreath for my door this weekend.. Also I finally found someone who knows how to knit socks so im very excited to start that project as well!!
You're so crafty--my current project is about to start...making a DIY farmhouse table and installing kitchen backsplash. Fun!
Love the colors, it would look great in my house too :)
I have about a million projects I SHOULD be doing, but I'm not.
Super cute runner Kim! I seriously envy your ability to make SQUARE quilt blocks! This is something that completely escapes me.
Currently I'm working on....painting plastic eggs for a little spring nest...oh yeah, and I'm building little nests as well. Do your little chickadees hire out? ;-)
That looks amazing! I'm working on painting our downstairs right now. I've finished the living room and kitchen but will be working on the hallway and stairwell next :) Gotta get it down before cottage season starts!
You've got some talent! The colors in this are SO pretty! How fun. :)
Kim, such a cute mini-runner! The colors are the perfect Spring combination. I know you mentioned this before, but where did you find the bird window decal? I have a small obsession with decorating with birds and have yet to try decorating with this obsession. Can you help a girl out? =) Have a great day!
That is so cute! I love your fabric choices and it's the perfect spring touch for your house! Love the bird decals too! :)
I love the colors. It is looks great.
Love it! And even though you mentioned that the binding gave you some trouble, it looks great. The patterns and the colors look great. Well done!
I have too many projects to name them all here, but the one that has been getting the most attention lately is a scrap quilt made up of 400 flying gees units, 200 quarter square triangles and over 40 fabrics.
All the individual units are done, now I just have to sew them into 25, 16-inch blocks.
I'll have to show you my binding method. It's pretty fool-proof and easy.
That is damn cute!
