Displaying your blooms

Yesterday, I wrote about flowers to cut and bring in the house for a burst of color.
How do you display your flowers in the house? Since I often have just a few blooms from the garden, I use small jars, bottles and other repurposed items.
Instead of making large arrangements (that are more difficult, in my humble opinion), I just put a few blooms in small "vases." Here are what I used this week for vases.
And, this is what I came out with after a quick trip outside.
(Roses, ranunculus, dalia and salvia)
These small "arrangements" look great in bedrooms, bathrooms and other nooks. Nothing fancy, but sweet nonetheless.
9 people have something to say:
Oh, I love the Coke bottles! Thanks for the idea - I have two of them in my cabinet right now.
I love the cake bottles. That's such a great idea to display flowers. Come by for a chance to win a beautiful glass paperweight. Good Luck
Love the Mason jars! I agree with you - it's so much easier to do a bunch of little vases rather than trying to arrange flowers into a huge bouquet. I'm just terrible with things like that!
I use little random bottles, too. When I do have a big bouquet, I end up using my glass pitcher. I think it looks kind of fun.
For flowers with long stems (especially if there's only one or two stems), I love using wine bottles.
I love this! I need to get some more flowers growing in my garden so that I can just trim some off and bring them in to enjoy! Love the random bottle look though!!! Very cute!!!
Like something on the cover of BH&G. Simple is best, and you're fabulous.
