Weekend Recap

>> Sunday, November 16, 2008

I had a fun and marvelous time in Kansas City. It was great to see my friend, relax and shop... a lot.

What an awesome city. Any store I could have wanted, the city had. We had a ball! There were so many wonderful things that I fell in love with that I will have to put them in another post.

But, Christmas is surely coming.

At Halls, there were so many fabulous trees. It was the best department store display I've seen outside of downtown Chicago. So many lovely ornaments.

And, check this out.

It's a doggie water area outside a fancy jewelry store (which, I've never heard of. But, apparantly all the Bachelors on the reality show get the rings at this store.) I thought that was so cool. It really seems like a dog-friendly city.

The houses in Kansas City were also totally fabulous.

This was my favorite... the stone, the red door. Be still my beating heart. I made Ali chauffer me around and show me all the beauties. They all had such character. I took so many photos I will have to put them in another post - House Hunters KC Edition.

Overall, the best part with hanging with Ali. Her house was all decked out for Christmas. Such a nice place she has down there. I loved hanging with her and Nicole.

And she made us biscuits and gravy... oh my yum.

Aunt Ali even got Franco and Lola gifts.

Do you think they loved them? Oh yeah.

3 people have something to say:

Please comment on Kim and Ryan's blog! Every time you do, an angel gets it's wings.

Okay, maybe not. But, Kim usually gets a big smile on her face and says, "They like me, they really like me."
